Jason began his career as a financial advisor in 2008. A graduate of Hollywood High and Cal State University (BA, History), he went on to earn a Master of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Law from Pepperdine. His qualifications as a financial advisor include Series 7 (licensed 2/11/2008) and Series 66 (licensed 1/2/2009), backed by professional investment experience dating to 2008.

Jason founded Green Jay Financial Advisors to enrich current stewardship relationships and to build new ones, providing generational wealth management for long-term investors.

Brian Deely has been in the industry since 2006. He earned his B.A. in business administration marketing from Pacific Lutheran University, and previously worked as an account executive at Zones, Inc. and as a program director at the YMCA.

Brian joined his current group in 2007, assisting with both financial planning and marketing, and co-founded registered investment adviser Clear Creek Financial Management in 2014 to gain better control of the client experience and maximize opportunities for outreach. He now advises the team at Green Jay.

Joe Gates has been in the industry since 2008. He received a B.S. in productions/operations management from the University of Idaho and a Master’s in teaching from Heritage University, and previously worked as an operations manager for the Jeld-Wen Door Company and as an educator both domestically and internationally.

Joe joined the current financial management team in 2009 at Thrivent Financial, where he served as a financial advisor, and co-founded registered investment adviser Clear Creek Financial Management in 2014 to better streamline operations and financial planning.

Jaeger earned his Associate degree in Business at Olympic College and studied business at the University of Washington, Seattle. He brings a competitive mindset from his background as a Seattle Sounders Academy alum and Kitsap Sun Athlete of the Year.

After work experience as a bookkeeper, human resources officer, and payroll specialist, Jaeger holds the Series 65 license to provide investment advice. He joins his father at Green Jay Financial Advisors to build strong relationships with clients and support them in achieving their financial goals.

Jason Kelley has worked in the finance industry for over 10 years. He earned dual B.A. degrees in Business and Economics from Pacific Lutheran University, and previously worked for large organizations in the Pacific Northwest, helping them create and execute financial strategies that supported more than $400M in those employers’ annual revenues.

Jason then spent a year serving non-profits overseas, working with more than 10 organizations across 11 countries and 3 continents. After returning, he helped start a church while building a technology startup, and now serves as a Financial Advisor and Lead Operations Manager for Clear Creek Financial Management.

Maddie Largey earned her Bachelor’s degree in Product Design Engineering at Stanford University, a program under the university’s Mechanical Engineering core. She currently leads her own startup as co-founder and CEO, where Jason and Jaeger were early supporters and advisors to the team.

Maddie now advises the Green Jay team on all things design and marketing. She strongly shares the Green Jay mentality that knowing your client is a core principle of both sound financial advising and human-centered experience design.
